Play Every Shot Together.
Choose the best one.
Both teammates hit every shot. Choose the preferred result, move both balls to that position, and continue until the hole is complete.
Best for: Teams looking for a social, collaborative and forgiving format.

Prize tiers are based on the number of fully paid teams in each league when registration closes.
Once the final prize tier is announced, the prize pool will not decrease during the season.

WINTER 2027 LEAGUE RULES
Know Before You Play.
We built Winter League to stay competitive without making one missed week or one scheduling conflict ruin your season. Here are the rules players ask about most.
One official 9-hole league round each week.
Your best 13 scores from Weeks 1–15 count.
One team mulligan per official league round.
Your one-hour reservation includes warm-up and play.
League FAQ
How does the 16-week scoring format work? +
From Weeks 1–15, your team's best 13 scores count toward the championship. That gives every team two natural drop weeks.
Week 16 is Championship Week and always counts. It cannot be replaced by one of your earlier scores.
What happens if we miss a week? +
Routine makeups are not required because each team receives two drop weeks during Weeks 1–15.
Vacation, illness, work or another scheduling conflict may simply become one of your dropped scores.
If Fore Putts Sake causes the missed round because of a confirmed simulator or facility issue, FPS may authorize a protected makeup.
Are substitutes allowed? +
Eligible substitutes are permitted in Men's Scramble, Co-Ed Scramble and Ladies Scramble.
At least one originally registered team member must participate in the round, and the substitute must be declared before play begins.
Temporary substitutes are not permitted in Men's Best Ball because each player's individual scoring history is used to calculate the FPS League Handicap.
How does the Best Ball handicap work? +
Men's Best Ball uses an FPS League Handicap based only on official FPS league rounds. No outside GHIN handicap is required.
The first three rounds establish your initial handicap. The handicap continues to adjust through Week 8 and is then frozen for Weeks 9–16, including Championship Week.
Best Ball uses an 85% playing allowance.
What exactly counts as a mulligan? +
Each team receives one mulligan during its official 9-hole round.
The mulligan must be used immediately after the shot being replaced. Once used, the original shot is dead and cannot later be selected.
No mulligans are available during a championship tiebreak playoff.
What happens if we're late? +
Your reservation begins and ends at the scheduled time. Arriving late does not extend your session.
Late arrival first cuts into your warm-up time and then into your playing time. Any hole not completed by the end of the reservation is recorded as double bogey.
Can we restart our round? +
No. Once the first official league shot is struck on Hole 1, the round has begun.
A restart or replay may only be authorized by FPS staff because of a confirmed simulator, software, power or competition-setting issue.
Can anytime league teams play at either location? +
Yes. Men's Best Ball, Men's Scramble and Co-Ed teams may play their weekly league round at Fairport or Farmington, subject to availability.
Both locations compete together on one leaderboard for each league.
How far in advance can league tee times be booked? +
League tee times open 14 days in advance.
League registration guarantees your league rounds, but does not guarantee a recurring day, time, simulator bay or location.
How does Ladies League work with two locations? +
Ladies teams select either Fairport or Farmington as their home location when registering.
Ladies League plays Thursdays from 6:00–8:00 PM. Fairport is limited to 10 teams and Farmington is limited to 14 teams.
Both locations compete together on one Winter 2027 Ladies leaderboard.
What happens if the season ends in a tie? +
Season ties are broken using:
Season Score → Week 16 Score → Week 16 Final 3 Holes → 3-Hole Playoff → Sudden Death
Men's Best Ball uses the frozen Championship Week handicap during the playoff.
Fore Putts Sake reserves the right to resolve scoring disputes, equipment issues, unusual circumstances and situations not specifically covered by the published rules in a way that protects competitive fairness.
